Founder Story – Jessica V

Precision Plate Hospitality Consulting was founded by Jessica V, a hospitality professional with more than 20 years of experience working inside the restaurant industry as both a chef and front-of-house manager. Throughout her career, Jessica worked closely with restaurant owners, kitchen teams, service staff, and health inspectors, gaining a deep understanding of the operational, safety, and leadership challenges restaurants face every day.

Her experience working directly with food safety inspectors and managing restaurant teams allowed her to develop strong operational systems, compliance practices, and training methods that improve restaurant performance while protecting both businesses and their guests.

But Precision Plate was not created solely to support restaurant operations. It was built on a much deeper purpose.

Jessica believes strongly that the hospitality industry can change lives when people are given proper training, mentorship, and opportunity. After spending decades in the field, she saw firsthand how many people entering the workforce—including veterans, individuals reentering society, and those in workforce transition programs—often struggle because they lack structured training and real mentorship from experienced professionals.

Because of this, Jessica believes it is her responsibility to share the knowledge she has gained over the past 20 years. Her mission is to create real-world training programs that prepare individuals for sustainable careers in hospitality while helping restaurants build stronger, more professional teams.

Through Precision Plate Hospitality Consulting, Jessica combines industry consulting with workforce development by providing training, mentorship, and operational education designed to help both businesses and individuals succeed.
